KEXP / Music Brings Us Together

Summer 2020 was looking very different, not only for KEXP but the whole world. Where once the KEXP Gathering Space in Seattle was bustling with music listeners, coffee drinkers, tourists and locals, the space was empty, aside from a DJ or two keeping the lights on and the airwaves streaming. For their one-day summer drive, they wanted to remind their audience they are not alone, and through music and their donations, KEXP will continue connecting members of the community and the world.

As buildings across the nation were being boarded up and their doors locked, positive messages were being sprawled across windows everywhere. Inspired by this, we adapted that idea for our design direction for the one-day KEXP Summer Drive.
